Another Random Update
Hello!
I'm updating to well... update.
No real reason to do it. Just got the whim to log on and type out stupid stuff for all of my flist to enjoy.
I've been off the last few days. Was very nice to have days off for once.
I'm actually looking forward to Christmas this year. It's going to be a bit lean, but that doesn't matter. I'm just glad to be with my family. We're having dinner at my mom's house, thank God, and will hopefully get to eat decent food this time. (Thanksgiving... bleah)
Bob got me a cell phone for Christmas. I was allowed to open it early due to the fact my car broke down and I had to walk about two miles to use a phone to call him. I love my phone. It takes pictures, plays videos and has cool ringtones.
I got Bob's gift the other day. I procrastinate a lot. Really. Takes me forever to finally get up and get stuff done. I finally sent my Christmas cards out yesterday. (Tricia, didn't have your address or would have sent you one)
New Year's will be a bit iffy. I work in the hotel industry and the majority of people work on New Year's Eve and there are tons of drunken partiers about. They shut the Strip down every year at 6pm and don't open it again for car traffic until after 2am. Time for clean up and such. We get the ocassional drunk person passed out in the street. Loads of fun.
And in other news... it actually snowed here this morning. Really early this morning. I took my dogs out at 4:45am and about froze my ass off. Jesus. Light snow falling. Harley about popped a nut when it kept hitting his nose. LOL.
It stuck out in Henderson, and I made sure to stay home. Damn people here have no idea how to drive here in the snow. We don't get much snow. When it does snow, it either turns right to slush or it does stick and morons crash their cars because they go too fast.
If I don't update before Christmas, I hope every one has a Happy Holiday!!!!

I'm afraid to ask what you were doing AWAKE at 4:45 in the morning! Ack. Please tell me that you're not up wandering the streets in the dark at such inhumane times every day. If so, you are much too productive to your own good and should sleep in because you make the rest of the lazy world look bad. *nudgewink* LOL.

Cell phones are just so friggin convenient, I remember all the hassle I had before I had one, and it's hard to imagine not having one on hand once you get it. It's much like the DVD in that manner, I can't imagine watching movies on VHS and not getting any special features/behind the scenes stuff with it. LOL.
