I'm such a wimp this year, I'm not going anywhere near the Strip. LOL. However, I have a great view to watch the fireworks at midnight.

I think the mayor of Vegas canceled the fireworks this year ... It was on the news here. Is it true? I hope not. I'm glad you're optimistic because optimism grows and spreads and you have a way of making people smile because even when the chips have been down for you a couple times over the year, you've always managed to hold on to hope. And you always tell us about the good times too making us smile more. I hope 2009 brings you happiness. Cheers! There will be daquri tonight!

Luckily, the fireworks are on! Reno canceled their fireworks show, but Vegas will have eight minutes of color in the sky. It's a good thing I can watch it live. LOL!
